Singing Hearts offers a curated Jewish preschool experience. We are inspired by the warmth of Judaism, the beauty of nature, and the endless curiosity of the very young. We offer children opportunities to express their deepest selves through art, dramatic play, and meaningful conversation. Our classroom spaces are designed with intention; our play areas are created to be engaging, aesthetically pleasing, and supportive of the developmental stage of the children.

Early childhood is a precious time in a child's life. We respect each child's dignity unconditionally. We promise to "hug first, then teach." We will honor your child's journey through their crucial formative years, guiding them with patience, consistency, and love.
Our Director
Chanie Pawliger, M.S. Ed. brings 18 years of experience in education to Singing Hearts.
She considers her work with children to be a distinct privilege and profound responsibility. Chanie is passionate about combining traditional Jewish education with modern best-practices. Her approach is informed by Jean Piaget's Theory of Cognitive Development and Lev Vygotsky's body of research on the developmental significance of play.
Chanie is a proud wife and mother of six. Her hobbies include crafting, reading, writing, hiking, and volleyball. Chanie is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in education at Brenau University.

Have you ever been told that your toddler must be fully potty trained at home for a few consecutive days before she is allowed to come to school without a diaper?
At Singing Hearts, our goal is to support your entire family unit. We prioritize your family's holistic wellbeing and will do our best to accommodate your preferences. We will happily work with you to ensure that your child's toileting, napping, and other needs are addressed to your satisfaction.

Spending time enveloped in nature is healing. The sensory experience of sitting under a canopy of trees while enjoying the sound of birds and the scent of grass is a richly rewarding experience.
At Singing Hearts, we actively engage with the natural world in thoughtful and intentional ways, whether through scientific exploration or creative art. We seek to spend extensive time outdoors in both child-led play and teacher-crafted lessons. Come visit our Nest, a communal outdoor learning space, and our veggie/herb raised beds. We also have an outdoor art garden to showcase some of our favorite masterpieces.
